Can you save money by buying unbranded carpet? Is there a difference in quality from branded carpet, or are you just paying more for the brand name?

The biggest difference between branded and unbranded yarns in your carpet is the treatment of the fibers. Name brand carpet companies like Mohawk will use proprietary treatments like Wear-Dated®, Stainmaster®, and 3M Scotchgard® Protector Advanced Technology. These chemical treatments can help your carpet to repel stains, endure damage from heavy traffic, and keep its color for longer. Another advantage of branded fibers is the extended warranties. The fiber company and the carpet manufacturer will both guarantee the quality of their product, giving you protection and peace of mind.

We carry both branded and unbranded yarns in a wide variety of styles, colors, and pricing, so the choice is up to you. You’ll be able to find whatever you need.
